Unfortunately, it appears that the intent and target audience of this blog has been grossly ambiguous and has led to confusion and the need, on my part, for clarification.
So please allow me to clarify: This is not a family blog. This means: this is not a “mommy blog,” this is not a blog dedicated to my family, it is not necessarily or usually about my family, or about anyone and/or anything specifically. As for a target audience? Anyone who will actually read it. I have no expectations. The majority of the content is not suitable for children, adults, or probably anyone who can read. If you want your children to read about Muff Men or Shoe Orgies this is the place for you.
None of this means that I will not write about my family or maybe even yours. Families are phenomenal and to avoid the topic would not only be impossible, it would be stupid. Anyone who has ever tried to rid themselves of their family recognizes this.
This blog does not yet know what it wants to become or where it’s going, much like it’s author. (See the Me page for more on that.) Mostly, it’s an experiment in writing (for a non-writer) and the Internet (for a technological n00b). It’s a good time waiting to happen.
Comments are always welcome. Be advised that they will likely be posted. I detest censorship and appreciate thought-provoking comments and anything that invites a discussion. Disagreement does not bother me in the slightest. However, I will not tolerate any form of harassment toward myself or others and the offender will promptly be blocked. Lucky for me, I get to define “harassment.”
The Internet is an awesome thing. If you don’t like my blog, find another. Or better yet – get your own! It’s free!
